Seeing this general political downturn away from the acceptance of trans people and our legal protections and medical provisions is very worrying.

And I think it's especially worrying in regards to DIY, the supply lines are fickle and currently the US is essentially enacting a trade war against their trade partners, and if you know anything about the production of DIY estrogen, you'll know that there is one area in specfic that is absolutely vital, if this is cut off, we're fucked, I doubt any of the current DIY sellers have enough raws built up to handle anything like that, so what's the solution here? Buy raws? Bunker down and hope for the best?

Perhaps I'm being alarmist but, I don't feel too good about the way things are looking.

Hi yall, as the title say I think we should remove DashPCT as they have just the worst customer support, they will take weeks just to respond to you and that's not the worst part. I ordered estrogen from them around 4 to 5 months ago and they sent me the wrong amount. I emailed to them about the problem and they would take on average 2 to 3 weeks just to get back to my emails.

I tried desperately to find a solution but the only solution they would take is a unboxing video which who would do an unboxing of their product expecting an incorrect amount of your product. I have tried to find ways to give them evidence like proving the box is way too small to fit all of the product but they called me a fraud and they said I used filler to fill the box. The filler they were talking about is the packing peanuts they sent with my package and the box that they compared to where I could have gotten all my product in the package from is fully filled to the brim with the hrt and no packing peanuts in sight which will just destroy all the hrt that I would have ordered in shipping. they have currently cut contact with my email and i cant contact them at all right now.

I am on my last few pills of estrogen left and cant afford to buy more right now due to finance. I really have no idea what to do right now. i had planned perfectly that my hrt could last until the end of the year and now i will have to get off estrogen for the time being and just take t-blockers. I would really appreciate any tips that i could get my estrogen and hopefully DashPCT could be taken down from hrt cafe so that no one will go through what i went through.

Hey y’all, I will be going on vacation in the summer with the plane. I take estrofem and cypro pills. I was wondering if it was possible to take my pill cutter with me on vacation because I need it to cut pills. The thing is, the pill cutter has a sharp knife in it so I don’t know if thats possible

Did anyone have any experience with this? All my pills are DIY so I don’t have documents.

I'm in the UK and yesterday has really underpinned to me what I always suspected, that we can't rely on something fundanmental like human rights or access to medication to be here in the future, I want to be able to have this guide as a backup

A few days ago I bought some EEN and then some syringes and finally I got some alcoholic wipes for the injection site. They haven’t arrived yet but when i was browsing the new I saw a mention of a UK Supreme Court ruling that hurt trans rights. And I thought to myself is that how I’m going to live,in fear that the country I call home is gonna force me out cuz it will be too unbearable after a while. This puts me off HRT even though I want it!

A year and three months of estradiol valerate subq injections. I successfully suppressed T for a little over a year, but now it's back up. At 7 months I went on 100mg daily oral micronized progesterone and then a month after that I upped my dose to 200mg daily micronized progesterone, I’ve been taking those orally. My estradiol valerate is .15ml injections every 7 days and the vial is 20mg/ml concentration. Pre HRT levels:

E: 38 pg/mL T: 890 ng/dL

Prolactin: 9.9 ng/mL

FSH: 11.0 mlU/mL

LH: 5.7 mlU/mL

Here is my numbers throughout the past year plus three months, all of my blood tests were taken 4-5 days after injection:

Test #1 (6 weeks after starting HRT) I was prescribed 0.25 mL injections of estradiol valerate (40mg/mL concetration Delestrogen) once every 7 days. Upped it myself to 0.30 mL but a friend got me to go back to taking the prescribed amount 2 weeks before my test.

E: 642 pg/mL T: 26 ng/dL

Test #2

We had taken my numbers down from .25mL to .20mL but somehow my E was even higher. Doctor had me skip two weeks and then do a dose of .15mL

E: 1,060 pg/mL T: 14 ng/dL

Test #3

E: 398 pg/mL T: 14 ng/dL

Dose was still .15mL on the 40 mg/mL concetrate. After this test I was put on 20mg/mL concentrate of Delestrogen (estradiol valerate). Since it was half the concetration, she had me put my dose to .30mL to compensate. After this I also started 100mg of micronized progesterone, taken orally. Then after a month went to 200mg of micronized progesterone, taken orally.

Test #4

E: 538 pg/mL T: 17 ng/dL

Since my numbers turned out high again, she suggested cut my dose in half, but I told her we could try .10 mL just in case because of such high numbers all year. So now I started doing .10mL after my prescribed two week break to let levels fall off.

Test # 5 (most recent test halfway through February)

E: 192 pg/mL T: 79 ng/dL

DHEA-S: 189 mcg/dL

Now that my E level is finally lower at .10mL (20mg/mL Delestrogen vial), my T has spiked but my DHEA is in female range. Still 200mg micronized progesterone daily.

I've been getting extra vials of estradiol valerate, but I want to stockpile like 3 more vials that will last a couple of years. Trying to have a 3-5 year stock basically. I'm considering switching to enanthate, but I've never done DIY yet and Im nervous about getting something weird or harmful. If anyone know a reliable source for enthate vials that will help me so much. I've seen castor oil or MCT oil for the base and Im not sure which is better?

What's the best DIY place for progesterone to use as suppositories?

How can I make my regiment better based on all this info? Also, should I be testing for anything elses beisdes E, T, and DHEA?

Ive been seeing people talk about testing these: DHT, FSH, LH, SHBG, prolactin and IGF-1

Are any of those necessary? What would that change if any of those are spiked?

Overall Ive enjoyed my changes so far, but I want to really get a good regiment down that is consistent long term and more effective at feminizing. I would prefer to stay away from spiro based on so many bad experiences I hear from it. I also already have a bladder issue so spiro is bad for that. That being said, Im open to doing anything else if it's necessary for improvement based on my situation.

Thought I was ready for monotherapy after years, tried it at the start of the month, removed the CPA from my schedule, and about 7-10 days later... I woke up with huge pain in the private area. Peeing was uncontrollable and painful, and even just sitting around and doing nothing was painful too.

I thought I had a urinary tract infection, tried doing tests, tried some medicine to help alleviate it... but after 5 days of the pain going away and returning I thought, maybe I should try some CPA, what's the worst thing that could happen?

Well, what happened is that the following morning, the pain was gone and it hasn't returned after a week still. Could it really have been just lack of AAs? Evidence suggests yes, but it was just such a strange experience.

I'm forced to leave my country bc it's not safe and they found out about me being queer. the problem is, I can't take my meds with me and I can't get any when I go to another country... what's going to happen to me after 2 years of hrt if I stop? I was wondering if anyone else have had this issue and if there are any alternative websites that ship from the EU. I am in Sweden if that helps. Also I don't really want to do injections since I am really afraid of needles.

Lets say I hypothetically have estradiol enanthate powder stored in a vacuum sealed container, in the dark for 4 years, and within reasonable temperature ranges for most of that time.

Is there any way to test it for loss of efficacy or deterioration? be it visual changes or through reactions, anything besides "sending to a lab" goes.
How would you perform those tests, and what to look for?

So, I’ve been on HRT for 15 months now, and all this time I’ve been injecting EEn 50mg/ml into the upper outer part of my glute using the insulin needles - 29G or sometimes 30G, ½ inch (0.3mm x 12mm). But I’m not completely sure if I’m doing it correctly. I’m very skinny, and the idea of injecting into my stomach, where I have very little fat, really scares me. Am I doing everything right?

Lol. I started estradiol enanthate injections today and since Wednesday is gonna be my shot day imma most likely make a ritual of it and precede every injection with the ancient vine: “it is wednesday my dudes…inhale… UUAAAAAA.. sorry, sorrry I thought it was out of my system.

Anyways, so far so good, injection went well, no irritation, just a small amount of bleeding. I got the vial from Voix Celeste, shipping was fast and communication was excellent. If you live in the EU I recommend them.

In my country, you can change your documents after one year of hormone therapy by providing the necessary certificates. But what if I’m doing DIY hormone therapy and I don’t have any certificates?

I recently switched from EV+cypro, to EEn monotherapy and I'm a little concerned.

4.5 months of EV+cypro gave great results. Total loss of spontaneous erections, ejaculate went clear immediately and ceased completely within a few weeks, good tiddy growth, amazing brain/body connection, body hair reduction.

My last dose of cypro was 30 days ago after a week of tailing off with every-other-day 8.3mg. The switch from EV to EEn was about seven weeks before I dropped the cypro.

So I'm now on EEn, SubQ 6mg/7days monotherapy.

The problem is that in the last few days I've been seeing the return of spontaneous erections, and also today a little ejaculate that's slightly milky.

(There's a compounding issue that I'm processing CSA trauma right now and getting somatic flashbacks which result in rock solid, painful erections - that may be a factor)

I've also been feeling kinda weird mentally about my transition... like, unsure if I'm really a girl, feeling odd about my name. My identity is so solid, I know this is a glitch, not the truth – I am a girl and have always been a girl.

So...

Have any of you experienced anything like this? I'm willing to believe that the switch from blocking testosterone to the body having to decide for itself not to bother producing it isn't a totally smooth process, and I could just be in a bit of a hormonal limbo/storm?

I'm sure my EEn dose will be enough to suppress T in theory. I'll be doing a blood test in two weeks.

I'm only partly worried until I get bloods, and unless I see more evidence of masculinisation. My body hair is still sparse, light and fine, and my skin is super-soft right now.

It would put my mind at ease if anyone would say "Yes. This happened to me. It passed. It's normal"

Or I would take action if someone would say "Uh oh! This is a bad sign!"

So... anyone happy to share their experience of making a similar switch?

New fear unlocked - I saw someone talking about this online. I’m not looking for any fear mongering type responses - pls be nice 🥲Hopefully the chances of this are slim ? I’ve been experiencing some blood clotting issues lately (my blood clots more slowly) so I’m more prone to bruising now - I really hope it’s nothing related to estrogen which will somehow make me need to stop taking it.

Also what would happen if you had a blood clot or breast cancer or some liver disease - would you need to stop? Could you continue again after the issues are resolved or continue whilst getting treatment? Don’t injections bypass the liver - so if you had liver issues you could technically continue to take estrogen?

Honestly I can’t ever imagine stopping my hormones I’ve been taking them for over 3 years and I would die without them.

I’m just trying to think of what to do if these situations arose worst case scenario.

Title is as it says. I've been on hormones for getting close to a year now and recently (about a month and a half ago) reached targeted levels of hormones (23.29 Testosterone and 129 Estrodial). During my last appt I asked my Doctor about going on Progesterone, to which she said they do not prescribe it because "there isn't enough evidence that Progesterone helps with Trans women". Which, i've heard its more a case to case basis than anything and most people i've talked to that have been on it say it really helped them transition.

Wondering if I should just DIY it after my next appt since I'm moving then or a different option. There really are not any other Endocrinologist's in my area that aren't from the same clinic as my current one.

ok so im on diy testosterone gel for 5 days (i know ive not been on for long)

ive been researching about people's changes and ive been seeing people noticing changes on the first day and ive noticed absolutely nothing, and im coming up to a week.

ive seen people say that a week in they noticed they got hungrier, more oily skin etc, and i know im not 1 week in but i dont think 2 days is that long. ive basically been on it for a week.

i have a irrational fear that the gel is fake, despite me buying it off a website listed on the hrtwiki which is apparently trustworthy and i spent a lot of money on the gel so im just very afraid its fake and ive been tweaking.

i apply it every night 5g/50mg after having a warm shower at night, the first 2 days i put lotion on after an hour because i heard it helps it absorb better so i dont think im doing anything wrong in the application process.

i think i just need someone to tell me to shut up and wait basically because im just really scared its fake, i probably sound stupid though.

MtF on hrt for 9 months with poor results and no way of knowing levels. My gp refuses to take bloods. I'm not out and i look very masculine so walk in clincs aren't an option either. How am i meant to go and ask for a female hormone panel with a straight face when i obviously have no chance of passing, and not just get refused or worse? I know i can't pass and at this point hrt is really just damage prevention for me but i don't know how i would explain that to a doctor. I don't think anyone would believe i'm trans because of what i look like. The UK court ruling yesterday made me even more fearful of trying to pursue transition and at this point i feel that my only option is to stop hrt and repress because it isn't working and i don't want to be stuck as a non passing trans woman with everything that's going on. I don't know what to do and i feel completely trapped tbh. Transition is just impossible with no medical or personal support, and there is none in this country.

I'm going to be starting injections within the next coming week and I just want to see if my dosage seems to be right for starting.

I'm 7 months into hrt and my current dose is 6mg Estrofem (Estradiol Hemihydrate) - 2mg sublingually every 8 hrs and Cyproterone Acetate 12.5mg every other day. I'm at my maximum dosage and seems to have the best levels I can for pills but I'm wanting to just not have to deal with taking sublingual 3 times a day and I just have to focus on it so much all the time which I just don't want as I head more into my hrt timeline.

My plan was to start at 7mg subQ with EEn every 7 days and stay on Cyproterone Acetate for 4 weeks before dropping it to let my levels build up with injections and going for monotherapy.

I've got 1ml 0.5 inch 30g fixed needles ready and I'm just waiting for my vial to be delivered from astrovials.

I'm just wondering if this dose seems okay or if I'm going too high for starting to go mono but I'm highly worried about remasculinisation and would rather E be high and then lower it than it be too low and not supress T enough. Could I try this and be alright or is it bad to start at this level with my AA still active for 4 weeks?
