On Here Looking For A Keyholder? Here's How To Not Get Scammed.

How to not get scammed while looking for a keyholder  

Many keyholders on here will require tribute, it is rare but not impossible to find a keyholder that does not require it. I am writing this guide as a way to protect yourself when searching or entering into an arrangement with a keyholder.  

● Look at their profile: The obvious first step is to look at their profile, look at the age of the account, have they been on reddit for 2 years or 2 days? A brand new account is usually a pretty good indicator that this may be a scam. Also check comment history, are they spamming their services on other people's posts? Another sign they are a scammer.  

● Check their links: Do they have links to other platforms? (Onlyfans, LoyalFans, Twitter, etc) Not all keyholders will have links to other platforms but it should raise a yellow proceed with caution flag if they are asking for tribute but have no other links to verified platforms.  

● Is what they're promising too good to be true? Use your head....no not that head, the other one. Think through the scenario. Is this person you've never met or talked to promising you this fantasy you've always dreamt of? Are they saying for a minimal tribute (i.e. $20) they'll lock you up and be your dream Mistress forever? While a small tribute may get you "in the door" most of the time it will require continuous payments, or they will take your initial tribute and you'll never hear back.  

● Be safe: DO NOT give this person you just met online all your information (address, full name, ID cards, etc) this can and will be used against you by scammers. Unless you're into blackmail (no, like real blackmail most likely by a catfish) then don't do this. You will end up broke and without a keyholder.  

You can report scammers on our subreddit to modmail although we are NOT responsible for you getting scammed. Be smart, do your research before sending money. When finding someone in real time/locally it's even more important to be responsible and safe.
