I am aware of the issue. As one of the top mods of r/opiates and the owner here, I and the other mods teams of these subs are doing our best to get to the root of the problem. Reddit has accidentally swept up other subs in trying to clean up unmoderated subs before, but we have active mods here that clear the queue every day and get involved in conversation. So didn't worry, we'll get this sorted out and I appreciate your patience in the matter.

It has come to my attention that one of my (now former) mods had been scamming this community, offering to sell them whatever they want at a low price but never delivering and basically saying "tough shit, deal with it". This behavior IS NOT TOLERATED HERE, and this person has been banned from this community as well as multiple other drug related communities. It saddens me and pisses me off that this was happening right under my nose and I didn't see it. That being said, I am committing to spending more time here in this community and making sure this is a safe place for everyone here whether you're an active user, here to try and quit, or a former user just staying in touch.

Secondly, because of this person, I am in need of new mods, probably more than one. There will be certain criteria in order to even apply to be a mod.

• minimum post and comment karma. I need to know that you are active not just in this community, but throughout all of Reddit.

• ZERO INFRACTIONS AMONG DRUG SUBS. I will not have mods that have broken rules and, upon mod application, post history will be searched and mods of other communities will be contacted about your history. I know this sounds extreme, but this is to protect the community and ourselves as mods from illegal activity that could get our subs banned for good.

• lastly I do expect whoever applies to be actively involved in modding the community. I need the mod queue to stay empty as well as more people looking through posts to make sure nothing fails through the cracks.

If you want to help, please message the mods or me. This community is important to so many people and I just want it to continue to be there for anyone who needs it.

Hey I just wanted to gather some information on the new bromazolam going around (Bromoethylazolam) . I wasn't a fan of clobro (phenazolam) as it had a long half life and onset an delusional sobriety it just wasn't a good mix and not enjoyable... I see people everywhere talk about how it’s easy as hell to get a hold of them but what does that actually mean? Is it just easy to get em prescribed or are they really OTC if you know where to look? NOT SOURCING, simply wondering how the process compares to the one here in the US; I am curious to hear of any experiences people have had with this.

I have a history of Xanax and oxy abuse. I’ve been sober since 2024 but just got prescribed kpins for my social anxiety. I’ve heard of them when I was addicted but never cared for them. I’m worried I’ll struggle if they give the similar effect as Xanax. Is this a relapse even? I really need these for medical reasons not even to get high I mean benzos don’t really get me geeked anyway I’d prefer drank or oxy.
