We have recently had a would-be poster push back hard against our verification requirement. They pushed back hard enough that I feel it bears explanation, given that some, oddly, don't seem to understand the purpose(s) behind it.

1. Consent is everything - By far the most important reason we require verification. We absolutely do not want nonconsensual voyeur photos on this sub. It is definitely kinky and fun to see, however, when we know that the subject gave express, enthusiastic consent for the photos to be taken and posted in a public forum. We're happy to allow fantasy and pretending.
2. Quality - Verification helps ensure that we have posters that really want to deliver the goods. We LOVE Upshorts pics here! We also love posters that care enough to provide awesome content and interact with the community!
3. Spam prevention - By requiring verification to post, it puts up a barrier between spam bots and the sub, without interfering much with human posters.

Upshorts means any photo or video up a woman's shorts, of panties or pussy (and maybe even the occasional forbidden starfish!). It could be flashing, shorts to the side, or just a general hint or tease view up the legs of a pair of shorts.

Some take "upshorts" to strictly mean a voyeuristic view up a pair of shorts. That definition doesn't apply here.

In the interest of supporting bodily autonomy and consent, non-consensual voyeuristic photos are strictly forbidden here. It's the #1 rule in the sub, and that isn't an accident. Once a submitter or couple is verified, they are more than welcome to post content that appears voyeuristic in nature. This is an absolutely acceptable application as the subject of the photos is able to consent to such things.
