I had decided not to buy any more vapes this 420. I mean, I have a Lobo, Mighty+, TM2, and FW9 sitting on the table next to me, and the economy sucks. I really wanted the new FATx, but he canāt keep them in stock yet, so I gave up.
THEN, Tafee announced their sale prices, and I was stoned, and have bad willpower, so I ordered a Silver edition or what ever it is. Oh well, I had been wanting one anyway, and I saved a bitā¦
THEN, Airvape announced their sale prices new version of the ALVP preorder. Between the low price and a love of the more retro styling, I was stonedā¦willpowerā¦etc. But now Iām done. The Tafee Bowle should get here in time for 420, and the expected ship date on the ALVP isnāt until June or something and will be something to look forward to.
THEN, I innocently clicked a link for the Firewood site, and the new FATx was AVAILABLE! I had given up on getting it this round, and I was so excited, and I was stonedā¦etc.
This has been an expensive 420 and itās not even here yet.
So last week I ordered a stainless steel Brilliant Cut Grinder since the 4/20 promo is going on and this is something I've been wanting for about 5 years. Before ordering, the Flowermill was catching my eye, it having this unique way of functioning and being much cheaper. I wasn't too sure what to order, since I don't even use much nowadays, only CBD at night, but the BCG was an old stoner dream so I pulled the plunge.
The waiting time was long though, my current grinder at the time was shitty, a standard 2" Flowermill is cheap and money was not really a problem, so I decided to buy one to use while I wait for the BCG, despite a lot of people bashing on it on reddit, regarding all its problems (aluminium shavings) and questionable functioning. I'm a stubborn guy and thought that even if it sucks, at least it makes a cool shelf grinder to show to guests that are not familiar with it.
Well, the Flowermill arrived, it's unique for sure, but it kinda sucks, yeah... This was predictable in some way but I just had to try it. I've used it half a dozen times and the grind is just not good. Chunks of weed, like little balls, just not consistent.
I know the BCG will be much better, you can't go wrong with it, and it's not like I regret the Flowermill, since it's a cool piece. I just wanted to share my experience for people that may be considering both and are on tight budget.
In my opinion, not really worth. Might as well just get a cheap aluminium chinese grinder and save up for something better.
So, I just got back into cannabis after a 6 year hiatus. I've been looking at getting into dry herb vaping and seem to have narrowed it done to the Solo 3 and TM2. Anyone have thoughts/advice/preference between the two? It would primarily be used by me, solo. Occassionally with a buddy. Since I'm just getting back in, I only need a couple puffs to be good. I'm not trying to go to another dimension... yet. Beginner friendly, but something that can grow with me. Any input would be appreciated
Update: ordered the Solo 3 v2 based on your recommendations and the sale price. Thanks for the help!
Hey everyone ā I picked up the Ruby Twist microdose bowl (the one VGoodiEZ sells) and I'm loving it so far, but Iām already thinking ahead about replacement screens.
Does anyone know the best place to grab screens that actually fit this thing well? Have you found any specific brand or Amazon listing that works perfectly? Or do you just stock up from a vape-specific site?
Any links, tips, or tricks would be awesome. Thanks!
So I just got my new Xmax V3 Pro, and I used it before charging. It had some charge so I did use it a bit. Now I am trying to charge it, and it is playing an animation of the charging blocks building up over and over again. I checked the battery by turning it on, and it was the same. Any ideas because Im stumped. Thanks!
Do you feel it ruins the flavor of your herbs? Do you throw the "raw" stems in your AVB jar?
I ordered 3 items from Cali Connected last Thursday all with the 20% discount from their current 4/20 sale. The first item was a Dr Dabber Switch 2.0 (discounted to $336 from $420) which shipped Friday and arrived Saturday. Very happy with that. I was able to enjoy it the whole weekend.
I sent them multiple emails on Tuesday asking them to cancel the remainder of the order since it still had not shipped and I needed to order the items from elsewhere since they would not arrive in time. No response, just an AI bot.
The second item, a mouthpiece, shipped yesterday even after repeated requests to cancel the remainder of the order. I even left a voicemail in their automated system yesterday asking them to contact me. Crickets.
The last piece, a bong, has yet to ship but since Iām a member or UPS my choice, UPS just emailed me last night letting me know āCC Distributionsā was shipping a 3lb package to my address and even provided me with the tracking number. So I know thatās gotta be the bong and itās probably gonna ship today. So yeah, theyāre legit and theyāre not gonna steal your money but customer service is just an AI bot and their phone number is another automated service so if you ever need assistance or to modify an order or any kind of customer service whatsoever, youāre on your own.
Bottom line, even though Iām very happy with my switch, the price I got and how quick they shipped it, the absolutely non existent customer service is the reason why this is the first and last time I order from them.
Posting this in case it helps anybody with their purchasing decisions.
I tried to post this before but it got removed due to the link. "City Vaporizer" has the version 2 for the above price. From CA to my front door in USA $200 and some change. I did receive mine yesterday and it is a version 2.
Thought I'd post here if anybody is interested.
ā¦and one I donāt have to turn off and on so often just to build up the right heat.
Anyone else getting past the honeymoon phase with their Lobo?
I don't want to drop 120 for the Pax min but I don't want something with an extremely short battery life, something that doesn't go below 2.3 volts, or something that has a tiny bowl. Suggestions for any DHVs, both electric and also ones that require you to light them? I don't want to go above 60 dollars.
I'm looking for something portable, produces thick vapour and ideally has dosing capsules as I'd rather not be faffing about when I'm out and about
I have a Vapman click that I can't quite figure out yet since I keep getting uneven roasts but it might be that my torch isn't right for the heater. So for that reason I can't place it in my rankings. I love my camouflet convector with the condenser removed. You can really get these big quick rips then the tip cools down immediately when you use it outdoors. I feel like it's the only truly on demand vape for that reason. I can only imagine how much better the XL version delivers in terms of big flavorful hits.
